Diamond Tyler, Soprano, is currently a Chorus Teacher at Calhoun County High School, St. Matthews, SC, teaching grades ninth through twelfth. Ms. Tyler attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC where she obtained a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance with emphasis in Classical Voice in 2019. Her studies at UofSC led to a European debut in Varna, Bulgaria as a young opera singer in June of 2019. During this time, she performed the role of Despina in Mozarts’ Cosí Fan Tutte, under the baton of the assistant conductor of the Metropolitan Opera of New York City, Maestro Gregory Buchalter.
Ms. Tyler enjoys performing as a guest recitalist in Charleston, South Carolina and surrounding communities. Currently, Ms. Tyler has embarked on a new educational journey to receive a Doctorate of Education Degree in Organizational Leadership, with an emphasis in K-12 Leadership.
